Safety Tips

Your safety is our highest priority. When using Loveet, please follow these essential recommendations based on international standards.

1. Protect Your Personal Information
• Do not share your phone number, email address, home address, social media profiles, workplace, or any other identifying details with people you do not know.
• Share personal contact information only after extended communication and once you feel confident you can trust the other person.
• Avoid sending photos that reveal personal details (e.g., ID cards, license plates, workplace badges, or recognizable locations).

2. Be Cautious With New Contacts
• If someone pushes you to move the conversation outside Loveet (WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram) too quickly, it may be an attempt to bypass platform safety features.
• Profiles without photos, incomplete information, or generic responses may be fake.
• Scammers often use similar patterns: fast emotional attachment, dramatic stories, requests for help, or pressure to communicate privately.

3. Never Share Financial Information or Send Money
• Do not send money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or any banking or card details.
• Fraudulent profiles often pretend to be in emergencies (medical issues, travel problems, family tragedies).
• Any request for financial assistance is almost always a scam.

4. Verify Information and Watch for Red Flags
• Vague answers, refusal to join a video call, overly polished photos, or constant excuses may indicate the person is not who they claim to be.
• If something feels suspicious, stop the conversation and report the profile.
• Use reverse image search (e.g., Google Images) if you suspect the photos might be taken from the internet.

5. Protect Your Photos and Private Content
• Do not send intimate photos or videos.
• Sensitive content can be misused for blackmail or shared without your consent.
• If someone asks for intimate material, consider it a clear warning sign.

6. Plan Safe In‑Person Meetings
• Arrange first meetings in public places, never at your home.
• Inform a friend or family member where you are going and who you are meeting.
• Use your own transportation and avoid sharing your exact home address.
• Keep your phone charged and accessible during the meeting.

7. Report Suspicious or Inappropriate Behavior
• If you encounter inappropriate conduct, fraudulent activity, fake profiles, or rule violations, report it through the Loveet contact form.
• Reporting helps protect both you and the entire community.
• In cases of serious threats or danger, contact local authorities.

8. Use a Strong Password and Secure Your Account
• Do not reuse passwords from other services.
• Never share your login details with anyone.
• If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password immediately.

9. Respect Other Users
• Communicate politely and respect personal boundaries.
• If someone does not wish to continue the conversation, respect their decision.
• Violating community guidelines may result in the suspension, blocking, or deletion of your account.
